Chairperson, Ray Unger and his wife Judi, spoke at Agrifest 2012 , a sustainable farming event, which took place at Concongella near Stawell in Victoria on March 29th.

For those of you who don’t know Ray he and his wife Judi run a certified organic/biodynamic mixed dry land farm of 1400 hectares, 23 kms NW of Peak Hill in central NSW. The Ungers run Poll Hereford cattle, Merino sheep and winter crop wheat, oats, barley and spelt. Involved in organic farming since 1994 and biodynamics since 1995, Ray has a wealth of knowledge and spoke about the basics of biodynamics, getting started in biodynamics , the benefits of biodynamics and in particular, how it relates to their farm. Judi discussed the making of biodynamic compost and showed the audience the results.
